What are your operational hours?

Do you provide lunch and transportation for participants?

Participants are responsible for bringing their lunch, unless otherwise specified in the calendar. We provide bus passes and mobility tickets for travel to the center and back home. We provide bus passes and mobility tickets for travel to and from the center.

Which DDA services do you provide?

We provide meaningful day services, including Day Habilitation, CDS, and employment services. We do not offer personal supports or residential services at this time.

What are your staffing ratios?

Our Day Habilitation program has a staff-to-participant ratio of one staff member to 1-5 participants.

How do I apply for services?

SPALC is a licensed DDA provider. To attend, you must already be enrolled in DDA services. Once enrolled, your service coordinator can contact Chelsea Hunter (SPALC lead case manager) to get the process started. From there, the admissions committee will review your referral documents and decide if we are a good fit for your needs and desires. The length of this process can vary depending on DDA response time.

Which ages do you serve?

We serve ages 21 and older.

Can you help me find a job?

We can provide employment services to those enrolled with DDA. See Supported Employment for more information.

What criteria do I have to meet to attend your program?

You must have a developmental disability, be enrolled in DDA services, and be at least 21.

How are the services funded? Do I have to pay?

The DDA funds SPALC services. You must apply for DDA services and get on the Waiver.

Do you provide any nursing services?

Our staff is First Aid and CPR trained, but we do not offer any further nursing services or administer medication.

How can I get involved/support?
